YES24 Global Ticket Guide: Verification, Fees, Cancellation

Quick Answer

YES24 Global Ticket (ticket.yes24.com/English) needs its own account, and as of October 2026 some shows accept only passport-verified members. The booking fee is ₩3,000 per ticket, card payment needs 3D Secure, and tickets are picked up at will call with your passport.

YES24 Global Ticket in five numbers (from the official English FAQ, checked October 24, 2026):

  • ₩3,000 booking fee per ticket, in place since August 14, 2023
  • 10 tickets at most per person in one booking
  • 1-2 days ahead: when YES24 asks you to finish passport verification
  • 180+ days between booking and show before PayPal is offered
  • 20 business days before the show: last chance to switch will call to overseas delivery

YES24 Global Ticket is the English-language booking site of YES24 Ticket, one of the Korean ticket sellers that K-pop concerts, fan meetings and musicals are sold through. Its rules are spread across a Purchase Guide, an FAQ with about 40 answers and a short Terms page. This guide pulls the YES24 Global Ticket rules into one place, dated and linked to each official page, and flags the one spot where two official YES24 pages disagree (which credit cards are refused). Whether your show is on YES24 at all is decided per show, so check the official announcement first; our overview of Korean concert ticket sites for foreigners explains how sellers are assigned.

Do you need a separate account for YES24 Global Ticket?

Yes. YES24 Global Ticket books tickets for members only, and an account on the Korean YES24 site does not carry over. The YES24 English FAQ says existing YES24 members who want to use the Global YES24 TICKET site "should new sign up again," so plan on creating a fresh account even if you already shop on the Korean site.

A second YES24 service causes most of the confusion. Global YES24 TICKET (ticket.yes24.com/English) is not the same as global.yes24.com, YES24's international shopping site. The English FAQ states the two "don't share members information," which means a global.yes24.com login cannot be used to buy concert tickets. Many search results for "yes24 global sign up" point to global.yes24.com, so check the address bar before you register.

How do YES24 Global Ticket sign up and login work?

YES24 Global Ticket sign up uses your email address as your ID. On the sign-up page you enter the email and press "Verify Email Address"; YES24 sends a verification link that, according to the sign-up page, is valid for only 1 hour, so open it right away and check your spam folder if nothing arrives. After that, you log in with the same email address plus the password you set.

The sign-up page also asks people who already use global.yes24.com to register with the same email address there, saying it brings more benefits on the global site later. That advice does not merge the accounts: the FAQ still describes them as separate member systems. Using one email for both simply keeps your records easier to find when you write to customer service.

Deleting an account has consequences. The sign-up page says withdrawn members "cannot rejoin for one month after withdrawal under any circumstances," and the FAQ adds that if you withdraw a passport-verified account without contacting YES24 first, you are restricted from re-joining or verifying for 30 days. Do not delete and re-create an account in the weeks before a ticket sale.

How does YES24 Verified Member (passport verification) work?

A YES24 verified member is an account that has passed YES24's identity check (eKYC) with a foreign passport and a face photo. As of October 24, 2026, the YES24 English FAQ says only verified members can buy tickets for selected concerts and musicals marked "Verified Member Only," and it recommends finishing verification at least 1-2 days before the sale because last-minute traffic can cause delays.

You can start verification in two places: the "Verified Member Only" button on a show page, or My Info, then Verify Account, then "Pre-Verification." Either route uses the same process, and once your status reads "Verified" you can book every Verified Member Only show without verifying again. The FAQ lists the steps in this order:

  1. Click "Verified Member Only" on the show page (or Pre-Verification in My Info).
  2. Scan the QR code with your mobile phone.
  3. Accept the Privacy Policy and KYC terms.
  4. Enter the verification code from your email, select your nationality and photograph your passport.
  5. Review and edit the passport information that was read.
  6. Take a face photo.
  7. Refresh the show page on your computer.
  8. Check the button: "Booking" for shows already on sale, or "Verified Member" for pre-sale shows, which switches to "Booking" at sale time.

Only a physical foreign passport is accepted. YES24's FAQ rules out Korean passports, national ID cards from any country, driver's licenses, and copies or photos of a passport. After verification, five details are locked: name, date of birth, email, nationality and gender. Bookings are possible only under the verified details, so check the spelling of your name against your passport during step 5.

If your status shows "Declined" or "Pending," the YES24 FAQ says you cannot retry on your own; an administrator reviews the case after you email global_yesticket@yes24.com. Korean nationals living abroad follow a separate route: they send a residence document (such as a local ID card or residence permit) to the customer center, receive a dedicated verification link by email, and must complete it with their Korean passport within 3 days, using the same email as their Global account.

Which payment methods does YES24 Global Ticket accept?

YES24 Global Ticket payment works with a credit card that passes 3D Secure authentication, or with PayPal when the show is more than 180 days away. Two official YES24 pages list different card exclusions as of October 24, 2026: the FAQ refuses only China UnionPay, while the Purchase Guide also excludes American Express cards issued outside Korea.

Because the two pages differ on American Express, the safest plan is to have a Visa or Mastercard with 3D Secure turned on, and to treat an overseas-issued AmEx as a backup at best. If AmEx is your only card, email global_yesticket@yes24.com before the sale and ask which rule the current payment screen follows. YES24's FAQ also says to confirm with your card company that 3D authentication is set up, since a card without it will not complete the payment.

PayPal has two more limits worth knowing before you choose it. The FAQ says delivery information cannot be modified on a PayPal booking, and refunds go back to the original PayPal funding source: within 30 days for a card, or within 5 business days to a PayPal balance, at PayPal's exchange rate on the refund date.

How much are the YES24 Global booking fee and cancellation fee?

The YES24 Global booking fee is ₩3,000 per ticket, raised from ₩2,000 on August 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. KST, and it is refundable only until 23:59 on the day you buy. Cancellation itself is free for the first 7 days after purchase; from day 8 the fee depends on how many days remain before the show, according to the YES24 English FAQ checked October 24, 2026.

Source: YES24 English FAQ, "If I cancel the ticket, do I have to pay for cancellation fee?" · As of October 24, 2026. Each show can set its own policy.

6 to 3 days before the show20% of the paid amount
2 to 1 days before the show30% of the paid amount

Two lines under the YES24 fee table change how it reads. First, the FAQ says "No.2 policy will first be applied," where No. 2 is the days-before-show schedule; if you bought recently but the show is only days away, email customer service before assuming the 7-day free window covers you. Second, the FAQ says delivery charges are not refunded once a ticket has been shipped or returned, and that each show can have a different cancellation policy, so the show page wins over the general table.

To cancel, open MY TICKET, select the booking and press "Cancel my purchase." The YES24 FAQ says partial cancellation of a multi-ticket booking is basically available but may be blocked by the discount applied. For card payments, the FAQ says cancellation of the card approval is confirmed 4 to 5 days after purchase, the refund takes 3 to 7 days, and the exact date depends on your card company; a charge that has already been billed is offset on the following month's statement.

When is the YES24 Global booking and cancellation deadline?

For shows from Tuesday to Saturday, YES24 Global booking and cancellation close at 5 p.m. the day before the show; for Sunday and Monday shows, both close at 11 a.m. on the Saturday before. The YES24 English FAQ (checked October 24, 2026) adds that cancellation is not available on holidays and that individual events can set different deadlines.

The YES24 FAQ gives these times without naming a time zone. YES24 is a Korean site and its booking-fee notice is written in KST, so it is safest to convert the cut-off to Korea time (KST, UTC+9) yourself. A Saturday 11 a.m. KST cut-off for a Monday show falls on Friday evening in the Americas.

The same cut-off also limits changes. The YES24 FAQ says a booked date or time cannot be changed and a payment method cannot be switched; in both cases you cancel and book again, which is only possible before the deadline and may trigger the cancellation fee for the stage you are in. A single booking can hold up to 10 tickets per person, and the FAQ notes that each event may set a lower limit.

How do you pick up YES24 tickets or get them delivered?

Most YES24 Global tickets are collected at will call on show day with your physical, valid passport and your booking confirmation. As of October 24, 2026, the YES24 English FAQ says only the ticket holder can collect will-call tickets, pickup before the show day is not possible, and a mismatch between your YES24 account name and passport name "can have trouble" at the venue.

The YES24 Purchase Guide adds a paper step: after paying, print your purchase details with the "Print" button and hand them to the box office together with your identification. Keep the printout and your passport in the same bag on show day, and arrive early enough to queue, since the FAQ says tickets cannot be picked up on an earlier day.

Overseas delivery is offered only on some shows. When it is, YES24 ships through DHL, the delivery fee depends on the destination country, and you can switch between will call and overseas delivery until 20 business days before the performance, paying the extra delivery fee by card. YES24's FAQ adds these delivery rules:

Country notesBrazil needs a CPF number; shipment to Russia and Iran is impossible
CustomsDuties and extra fees are paid by the recipient
Failed deliveryPackage discarded in the destination country, not returned; re-shipment may be impossible

A shipped ticket also changes how cancellation works. The YES24 Terms say a delivered ticket can be cancelled only if it is returned and reaches the ticket office by the cancellation deadline, and the FAQ says the delivery charge is not refunded. If your travel plans are not fixed, will call keeps cancellation simpler.

What are the most common YES24 Global Ticket problems?

Three YES24 Global Ticket problems have their own answers in the YES24 English FAQ: a booking window that will not open, a passport check stuck on "Declined," and the question of whether a separate app exists. The official fixes below are as of October 24, 2026; anything else goes to the customer center by email.

Why does the YES24 booking window not open?

The YES24 booking window opens as a pop-up, so a blocked pop-up stops the booking. YES24 says to allow pop-ups for https://ticket.yes24.com in Chrome or Edge settings, refresh the page, and check ad blockers or security software; incognito mode or another browser can also help.

What should you do if YES24 passport verification says Declined?

A Declined or Pending status on YES24 cannot be retried by the member. YES24 says to email global_yesticket@yes24.com, where an administrator reviews the cause; replies usually take 2 to 3 working days, so verify well before the sale.

Is there a YES24 Global Ticket app?

The YES24 English FAQ lists Global PC and Mobile as the channels for Verified Member and does not name a separate global ticket app. Booking on a phone browser at ticket.yes24.com/English follows the same rules as the PC site.

Pro Tip: When you write to YES24 customer service, the FAQ asks for your name, contact information, email address and purchase number. Put all four in the first email; YES24 says replies come within 2 to 3 working days, and a missing purchase number can add another round. If presale access depends on a fan club, sort that out early with our guide on how to join a K-pop official fan club.
