MAMA 2026: nominees were revealed on Monday, October 12, 2026. Fans' Choice voting on Mnet Plus runs in two rounds: Round 1, October 12, 19:00 – October 22, 23:59 KST, and Round 2, October 28, 18:00 – November 8, 23:59 KST, followed by a live vote on November 20 (KST), the first day of the ceremony.
Fan votes are only one part of how MAMA picks winners, but for categories like Fans' Choice they are the whole point — and every year, a lot of international fans lose votes to simple problems: the wrong account, the wrong time zone, or a voting round that closed while they were asleep. This guide walks through the process in order and covers the mistakes that cost the most votes.
BasicsWhat is Mnet Plus?
Mnet Plus is a fan platform run by CJ ENM, the company behind the Mnet music channel and MAMA AWARDS. It has a mobile app and a full website that works in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. Besides voting, it streams Mnet shows and stages and runs fan events.
For 2026, the official MAMA site (2026mama.com) opens inside Mnet Plus itself, so the platform is where you will find the awards hub, nominee pages and — once announced — the voting pages.
Step 1How do you create a Mnet Plus account?
The Mnet Plus sign-in page offers five ways in: email, Apple, Google, Kakao and LINE. Any of them works for voting; what matters is that you always come back with the same one. Fans who sign up with Google on their phone and then try email on their laptop end up with two separate accounts, and votes, points and history do not move between them.
- Set the language to English from the menu if the site opens in Korean.
- If you choose email, the confirmation message can land in spam or promotions — check there before requesting another one.
- Write down which sign-in method you used. It sounds silly until the last day of voting.
Step 2–3How do you find the vote and pick your artist?
Each event has its own vote page. For MAMA, start from the official awards hub on Mnet Plus, which the 2026mama.com address redirects to. Read the rules box on the vote page before tapping anything; it tells you which categories are open in that round, how often you can vote, and when the round ends.
In 2025, MAMA's fan voting ran in two rounds, and some rounds required a vote in more than one category before the ballot counted. If a round asks for several categories, a half-finished ballot may not count — finish every required pick, then confirm.

Often, yes — Mnet Plus has a full website with the same sign-in options, and the 2026 MAMA hub runs on that website. But each event decides where its vote is open. Some votes, special missions or ticket-linked votes have been app-only in the past, so the event's own rules box is the final word. If you only use a laptop, sign in on the website first and check whether the vote button appears for you.
FAQWhat are MplePoints, and do you need them?
MplePoints are Mnet Plus's in-platform currency. According to Mnet Plus, they are used to vote, join events and collect photocards. Points only work on the account they were added to, paid points are valid for five years, and you can add up to 500,000 points per day.
One detail worth knowing: Mnet Plus gives a bonus of up to 10% when you recharge on the website, while in-app recharges get no bonus. Whether a particular vote needs points at all depends on the event, so read its rules before you buy anything.
Step 4How do you convert the KST deadline to your time zone?
Every MAMA deadline is written in KST (Korea Standard Time, UTC+9), and Korea does not use daylight saving time. Your own clock might, which is how fans in the US and Europe get caught out in late October and early November.

These are the official MAMA 2026 Fans' Choice deadlines. The US switches from EDT to EST on November 1, 2026 and the UK leaves summer time on October 25, 2026, so the gap to Korea changes by one hour in the middle of award season.
Avoid: paid "vote services," shared logins and mass-created accounts. MAMA's rules can void votes that break the terms, and handing your login to strangers is how fan accounts get stolen.
