KSPO DOME — still called the Olympic Gymnastics Arena (올림픽체조경기장) by many Koreans — is the indoor arena inside Seoul's Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, and one of the most-booked K-pop venues in the city. The easiest way in is Olympic Park Station on Line 5 or Line 9, Exit 3 or 4. Below are the questions international fans ask most, answered with the park operator's own information.

What exactly is KSPO DOME?

It was built between 1984 and 1986 to host gymnastics at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and its cable-supported fabric roof was the first of its kind. In 2018 the arena was heavily remodeled — including improvements aimed at concerts — and has been known as KSPO DOME since then. Capacity is listed at around 15,000, which makes it a step up from smaller halls and a common venue for a group's first big Seoul concerts.

It sits inside Olympic Park, a large park run by KSPO&CO, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation's facilities company. That matters on show day: you walk through the park to reach the dome, and several other concert venues share the same grounds.

Which station and exit should I use?

According to Olympic Park's official directions, these are the subway options:

Line 9Olympic Park (올림픽공원)3 or 4
Line 8Mongchontoseong (몽촌토성)1
Line 9Hanseong Baekje (한성백제)2

For KSPO DOME specifically, the park lists Olympic Park Station as the nearest station and the North Gate 2, East Gate 2 and South Gate 2 entrances as the closest gates. If you are on Line 5, note that it splits east of Gangdong; Olympic Park Station is on the branch toward Macheon (마천), so check your train's destination.

Can I drive or take a taxi?

You can, but the park itself advises against driving when a large event is on: it warns of parking problems and asks visitors to use buses or the subway. The closest car park to KSPO DOME is P5 (176 spaces, entry 06:00–22:00). On big event days there is no prepaid parking, no daily pass and no ticket-holder discount, and leaving and re-entering means paying again. Taxis are fine for getting there, but expect a long wait right after a show lets out.

Is there a direct bus from Incheon Airport?

Yes — the park's own route list includes airport bus 6300, which runs between Incheon Airport and the Jamsil and Bangi areas and stops near the Olympic Village apartments by the park. It is a useful option if you land on concert day with luggage. Check the current timetable before you rely on it, as airport bus schedules change.

Is my concert even at KSPO DOME?

Read your ticket carefully. Olympic Park holds several separate performance venues, and fans regularly walk to the wrong one. If your ticket says Olympic Hall or another hall, our guide to which Olympic Park concert venue you are going to covers the halls one by one. The park's own facility list includes:

Where should I stay for a KSPO DOME show?

The most convenient base is the Jamsil area: Mongchontoseong Station, one of the official access stations, is the next stop from Jamsil on Line 8, and Jamsil is also served by Line 2. That puts you within a short ride of the park while keeping you in a busy district with plenty of hotels, shopping and food. If you would rather stay central, Line 5 and Line 9 both reach Olympic Park Station directly from other parts of the city.

What if I lose something at the show?

Olympic Park's website has a dedicated lost-property section, including a guide for items lost at its performance venues. For anything lost inside the arena during a concert, contact the event organizer as well, since they handle the show itself.

Show-day tip: when a sold-out arena empties into the park at once, Olympic Park Station gets the heaviest crowd. Walking a little further to Mongchontoseong (Line 8) or Hanseong Baekje (Line 9) can be faster than queuing.
