7:50 p.m. KST, ten minutes before a K-pop concert goes on sale on NOL World. You are logged in on one device, the event page is open, and the "Buy now" button is still grey. Everything that decides whether you get a seat (your account, your passport check, your card) should already be done by now.
Quick Answer
To buy K-pop tickets on NOL World, sign up ahead of time, finish passport verification 1-2 days early if the show is Verified Member Only, pay with a card issued outside Korea, and never refresh the queue. As of October 18, 2026, seats are held 7 minutes for payment.
NOL World is the international ticketing and travel platform run by Nol Universe; its App Store listing describes it as the former interpark Global, now rebranded as NOL World. The steps below follow NOL World's own English FAQ and Terms and Conditions as published on October 18, 2026. Individual shows can set stricter rules, so the event page and the official announcement always win over any general guide.

Step 1How do you sign up for NOL World?
You sign up for NOL World with an email address or a social login; the NOL World FAQ names Google, Apple and Line as the social account types. Booking happens inside your account, so the account comes first. NOL World's FAQ on successful booking asks members to create or log in to the account ahead of time, keep membership details such as the delivery address up to date, and choose the one device they will use on sale day.
Password recovery through the "Find Password" link works only for accounts created with an email address. If you signed up with Google, Apple or Line, you recover access through that platform's own security settings, according to the NOL World account FAQ. Note which login type you used before sale day, because a lost login at 8 p.m. KST cannot be fixed in time.
If presale access depends on an official fan-club membership, sort that out separately and early: our guide on how to join a K-pop official fan club explains how memberships work. The show's official announcement tells you whether a presale exists and which site runs it.
Step 2What is Verified Member Only, and how do you pass it?
Verified Member Only is a NOL World setting on some shows that lets only members who have completed passport-based identity verification (eKYC) buy tickets. NOL World says it uses this to block access for purposes such as ticket resale. Verification happens once per account, and NOL World's FAQ recommends completing it at least one to two days before ticket opening because heavy traffic near the sale can cause failures.
Only a valid, unexpired original passport is accepted; photos or copies of a passport fail, and the face photo must match the passport photo. NOL World accepts only English names for ticket reservations, so a passport name with non-English characters or special symbols needs a name correction request. After verification, the name, date of birth and email address on the account cannot be changed, and the same passport cannot be used to verify a second account.
A status of "Declined" on My Page means the submission was completed but failed; NOL World's FAQ says to press "Request to Initialize Submission" on the product page and retry after an administrator review. "Pending Admin Approval" means the passport name was not saved correctly. NOL World says either review can take up to 24 hours, which is the practical reason to verify days ahead rather than on sale night.
For members verified after April 16, 2025, NOL World displays the name as Last Name + First Name + (Middle Name) to match on-site ID checks. Korean passport holders are directed to the domestic NOL ticket site rather than NOL World.

Step 3How does the NOL World waiting queue work?
NOL World places every buyer in a waiting queue when booking opens, on all products sold on the platform, and hands out tickets in queue order. The FAQ says the queue exists to allot tickets first come, first served while detecting and blocking bot or macro traffic. Getting a queue number does not guarantee a ticket, because seats can run out before your turn.
NOL World's FAQ lists the actions that can cost you your place in the queue:
- Refreshing the page, closing it or exiting the queue page; a refresh resets your position.
- Requesting more than one queue number for the same account. If you press the reserve button on a second device, NOL World asks whether to keep the existing number or start again from the back.
- Using a VPN, which NOL World says may be treated as a bot or macro and blocked.
- Letting the screen go dark, switching to other apps or sites, or moving around with an unstable mobile connection.
- Frequently changing devices or browser windows.
If you are trying more than one booking at once (for example, NOL World alongside another ticketing site), NOL World's FAQ warns that multiple tabs can cause session conflicts and recommends completely separate browsers, such as Chrome and Edge, or separate devices. For the booking window itself, NOL World recommends an up-to-date Chrome or Edge on PC, or the latest version of the NOL World app.
Step 4How long do you have to pick seats and pay?
NOL World gives you up to 10 minutes to choose seats after you enter the booking page, then holds the chosen seats for 7 minutes while you pay. If payment is not finished in time, the seats are released automatically and you must start again. NOL World notes that some events use different limits or none at all.
| Booking stage | Time limit | What happens when it runs out |
|---|---|---|
| Seat selection (assigned seating) | Up to 10 minutes | You must restart the booking |
| Payment (seats held) | 7 minutes | Held seats are released automatically |
| General admission or zone booking | 10 minutes before payment | You must restart the booking |
The seat map on NOL World updates in real time, so there is no need to refresh it: seats others are holding disappear, and cancelled seats reappear on their own. A "This seat has already been selected" pop-up means another buyer chose the same seat at about the same moment. Seats cannot be changed after the booking is complete; NOL World's FAQ says to cancel and rebook instead, which can trigger the cancellation fees in Step 6.
Step 5Which payment methods does NOL World accept?
NOL World accepts only credit cards issued outside Korea. For ticket purchases, the accepted brands are VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB and UnionPay. A Korea-issued card does not work on NOL World; the FAQ points holders of Korean cards to the domestic NOL ticket service instead.
| Item | NOL World rule |
|---|---|
| Card brands for tickets | VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, UnionPay (issued outside Korea) |
| Currencies, VISA and MasterCard | 24 currencies, including KRW, USD, EUR, JPY, GBP, AUD, CAD, SGD, THB, TWD, PHP and BRL |
| Currencies, JCB | 4: KRW, USD, JPY, TWD |
| Currencies, UnionPay | 2: KRW, USD |
| Service fee, musicals and concerts | 8,000 won per ticket (some products, such as online concerts and fan-club memberships, excluded) |
| Service fee, other performances and sports | 3,000 won |
| Service fee change | From November 16, 2026, 9:00 a.m. KST: standard fee + 1,000 won (a concert's 8,000 won becomes 9,000 won) |
The payment currency is chosen in the payment window after you enter your card details: either your card's home currency or Korean won (KRW). NOL World's FAQ adds that service fees can vary by product, so the final amount on the payment screen is the one that counts.
Step 6How much does it cost to cancel a NOL World ticket?
Cancelling a NOL World ticket is free until 11:59 p.m. KST on the day you booked; after that, the fee depends on how close the show is, and the booking (service) fee is not refunded. The schedule below comes from Article 12 of the NOL World Terms and Conditions, which apply only where a product page does not set its own cancellation policy.
| When you cancel | Cancellation fee (concerts) |
|---|---|
| By 11:59 p.m. on the booking day | None |
| 10 or more days before the show | 8,000 won per ticket (capped at 10% of the price); none within 7 days of the booking date |
| 9 to 7 days before | 10% of the ticket price |
| 6 to 3 days before | 20% of the ticket price |
| 2 to 1 days before | 30% of the ticket price |
| Show day | 90% (only for products that allow show-day cancellation) |
The cancellation deadline is 5 p.m. KST on the day before the show, or 11 a.m. KST when that day is a Saturday, according to the NOL World FAQ and Terms. You cancel under Account/My, then My Reservations, then the ticket booking's detail page and the "Cancel Reservation" button. Partial cancellation of a multi-ticket booking depends on the show, so check it while booking.
The NOL World Terms say card refunds arrive through the original payment method about 4 to 6 business days after the cancellation is approved. The FAQ adds that a foreign card can show an exchange-rate gain or loss between the booking and cancellation dates, and that international transaction fees may still apply; your card issuer has the final figures.
Step 7Can you transfer or resell a NOL World ticket?
You cannot resell a NOL World ticket, but on many shows you can send a mobile ticket to the friend who will attend through NOL World's mobile ticket sharing. Selling outside official channels, proxy booking services and booking with someone else's identity are prohibited, and tickets caught in those trades can be cancelled without a refund.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Who can send | Only the purchaser; a received ticket cannot be sent on again |
| How | Account/My, My Reservations, Mobile Ticket, "Send", choose recipient |
| Deadline to send | Until the day of the event |
| Recipient registration | Within 24 hours with the PIN in the message, or the ticket returns to the sender |
| Cancelling after sending | Restricted once sent; possible again if the recipient deregisters or returns it |
| Shows without sharing | Some sellers turn it off; the "Send" button then does not appear |
| Penalties for fraudulent use | Booking restrictions of 3 months or more, permanent suspension, cancellation of all booked tickets |
NOL World's anti-fraud policy also warns that identity checks may take place at the venue, so tickets should be booked under your own name and account, and you should bring a valid photo ID. Neither NOL World nor the event organizer compensates buyers who lose money in unofficial trades.

Step 8How do you get your ticket on show day?
NOL World tickets reach you in one of two ways, depending on the show: a mobile ticket with a QR code, or pickup at the venue box office. For venue pickup, bring your confirmation number and identification; pickup opens 1 hour before the show and is not possible on an earlier day, and NOL World warns that box-office lines can be long.
Mobile tickets work only in the NOL World app or mobile web: go to Account/My, My Reservations and tap "Mobile Ticket". On a PC the same button shows a QR code that opens the ticket on your phone. Some concerts also support NOL facepass, a face-registration entry system; NOL World says a "facepass" mark on the product page shows which shows use it. For what happens once you are through the gate, see your first K-pop concert: what to expect.
Pro Tip: Before sale night, open NOL World's FAQ page and the event page on the device you will use, and check three things: the "Verified Member Only" mark, the per-member ticket limit, and whether mobile ticket sharing is offered. NOL World's FAQ says ticket limits per order or per member are set by each organizer.
